Gulfstream IV and V Panel Version 1.0 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 98 by Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de October 11, 1999 Thank you for download this panel. I designed it with different photos of the Gulfstream IV and V cockpit. The Panel of the new Version V is almost the same as in Version IV, so you can use it for both types. In the next weeks I'm also going to create a Panel for the Gulfstream II and III. So if you prefer these aircrafts just wait for this Panel. Maybe later on a Gulfstream I Panel will also come. Note: I couldn't test the panel with the monster 3D-card. So I don't know if it works correct with it. Sorry :-( HELP needed I couldn't find a FS Gulfstream V all over the web. Please let me know if you knew one or if you would like to send me one. This would be great! Instruction: The six lights below the windshield (right beside the AP Annunciator) lights up if you're out of fuel. Left upper lamp: Left Aux Tank Left lower lamp: Left Main Tank Mid upper and lower lamp: Center Tank Right upper lamp: Right Aux Tank Right lower lamp: Right Main Tank The Ice warning light left beside the fuel Pump switches will illuminates red at 4 degrees C and below. Clicking on the warning light will turn it white and turn the Anti Ice Switches on globally for that aircraft. The Status lamps lights up when turning off the engines with the fuel pump switches. The lamps for the Hydraulik System also lights up when the engines turned off and the Hydraulic pressure goes down. Installation: You need to have installed Flight Simulator FS98 Converter. Unzip the gauges.zip to your Flightsim main Gauges directory. If you already have some of the gauges you don't need to delete them. They should be the same. Unzip the Panel.zip and replace the panel.cfg file to the panel folder of your favourite aircraft. For more reality use G-IV or G-V. Unzip the Sounds.zip into the sound directory of FS98 (not into the sound directory of your aircraft!). You don't need to replace the sound files if you already have them. Some of the required gauge files are shipped with FS98. If you renamed or deleted one of these original files you could send me an Email with a short description, which instrument not correct work. I will send you another config and gauge file. Credits I would like to thank: Vadim Serebrenikoff for some Gulfstream photos. Christian Koegler and John Hirsch for the Overspeed and Stall Warnings. Christian Koegler for his Standby Attitude Glenn Copeland for his Parkbrake Button. Dai Griffiths for a lot of the Warning lights. The FPDA Team for a lot of the used Gauges. Paul Golding and Eric Ernst for the Engine Oil Gauges. Eric Ernst for a lot of the used Gauges. Tony Bolton for his Spoiler Gauge. Laurent Crenier for his Autobrake Gauge. Chock Dome for his GPS Gauge. Tony Bolton for his Weather information Gauge. Feel free to send feedback or comments. I'm looking forward to your Mails to know in which part of the world this panel is used. Matthias Lieberecht Lieberecht@cw-net.de
