This directory, /ftp/pub/ota/TEI/software/docs,
contains five compressed files:

* OTAtexts
  3 texts marked up using the TEIlite DTD
  one file containing pictures for pope0580.sgm.

  to actually use these pictures instead of those at
  the OTA website you have to change the entities in
  the header of pope0580.sgm to where you have put the
  files.
  
* SGMLinfo
  huge amounts of html pages containing information on
  everything, from SGML to XML. about 1300 documents!

* TEIinfo
  several docs on the TEI

More information about the files contained in
these sub directories can usually be found in the 
respective directories.

This collection was compiled for the Text Encoding
Summer School 1997 in Oxford.

Some files have been updated and added.
